If that's how you work too, this is the role for you.</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>About the role:</strong></span></p> <pre><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">As a senior member of the engineering team you will be instrumental in planning, designing, and implementing applications that will scale with EverQuote systems. <br> In this role, you will build applications and services that meet the needs of the business while also being scalable, performant and easy to maintain. This is a full-stack role with a <br>backend focus, where you will be expected to take full ownership of large pieces of business critical functionality. You will be joining a team of talented, collaborative engineers eager to grow and deliver.</span></pre> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and delivery of key business applications and solutions.</li> <li>Enhance code quality, productivity and velocity through the use of AI assisted technology.</li> <li>Adhere to our Software Development processes whilst improving our Engineering culture by identifying and addressing inefficiencies in our processes.</li> <li>Proactively engage with cross functional stakeholders including Product Managers and Architecture team. </li> </ul> <p><strong>What you bring to the team:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional programming experience including experience at a software product company.</li> <li>Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>Experience in one or more of the following languages Typescript, Golang, Python or other server side languages.</li> <li>You have worked in a microservice-based architecture and are proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.</li> <li>Experience building, deploying and monitoring cloud based applications, systems & infrastructure at scale (ideally on AWS).</li> <li>Deep experience designing systems and communicating designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You are passionate about sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates.</li> <li>You are able to quickly diagnose and solve code problems, as well as help others unblock themselves.</li> <li>You have an entrepreneurial mindset, want to grow a business, and love working with a team.</li> <li>You are comfortable using data to support and validate your concepts.</li> <li>You thrive in a fast-paced work environment where everyday contribut…
