Role Overview
Integrella is seeking an accomplished Integration Architect todesign and govern enterprise-grade integration solutions for finance, tax, andaccounting technology platforms. This role demands deep expertise across theAzure Integration Services landscape, event-driven architecture, and API-leddesign, with a focus on delivering high-integrity, auditable financial dataflows for global clients.
You will own end-to-end integration architecture decisions, definestandards for APIs, events, and data pipelines, and work closely with clientstakeholders to connect ERP systems, data platforms, and regulatory reportingsolutions into a cohesive, well-governed integration estate.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Define, design, and govern enterprise-wide integration architecture across cloud,on-premises, hybrid, ERP, SaaS, and financial platforms.
- Architectscalable, resilient, and secure integration solutions using synchronous(REST/SOAP) and asynchronous (messaging/event-driven) integration patterns.
- Designand implement API-led connectivity strategies, reusable integration services, and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Designevent-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines using Azure Event Hubs,Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or equivalent messaging platforms to supporthigh-volume, mission-critical business processes.
- Defineenterprise messaging strategies, including Publish/Subscribe, Queue-basedmessaging, Event Streaming, Request/Reply, and Event Sourcing patterns.
- Designand oversee integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, AzureFunctions, MuleSoft, or equivalent enterprise integration platforms.
- DefineETL/ELT design patterns and data movement strategies across Azure Databricks,Data Lakes, Lakehouses, ADLS Gen2, and Microsoft Fabric, aligned withArchitecture and modern data engineering principles.
- Architectintegrations with enterprise platforms such as Workday (PECI/DCOD, CoreConnectors, RaaS), SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and otherbusiness-critical applications.
- Establishenterprise standards for message contracts, event schema design, schemaregistry, metadata management, API governance, and integration versioning.
- Produceintegration specifications, canonical data models, mapping documents, datavalidation rules, reconciliation controls, and error-handling frameworks toensure high-quality and auditable data exchanges.
- Designsecure integration architectures incorporating OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC),JWT, mTLS, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and zero-trust securityprinciples.
- Leadintegration platform governance, including architecture reviews, designassurance, reusable assets, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Collaboratewith Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, Solution Architects, ProductOwners, and business stakeholders to translate business and regulatoryrequirements into scalable integration solutions.
- Drivecloud-native integration strategies leveraging containers (Docker),Kubernetes/OpenShift, serverless computing, and microservices architectureswhere appropriate.
- Championengineering excellence through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing,Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), DevSecOps, and deployment automation.
- Establishcomprehensive monitoring, observability, logging, distributed tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards to ensure platform reliability andproactive issue detection.
- Evaluateemerging integration technologies, AI-powered integration platforms, AgenticAI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and intelligent automation opportunities tocontinuously evolve the integration landscape.
- Providetechnical leadership,
